I am a fully qualified damp and timber expert and as of today have carried out over 6,000 surveys in London.

I am a PCA trained damp and timber surveyor specialising in historic London residential properties. I am 100% independent and act for vendors, purchasers, tenants, landlords or any other parties seeking honest, professional non-biased damp advice.

I have been involved in the damp proofing business for over 30 years. I hold a four year Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Sciences. To date, I have surveyed over 6,000 residential and commercial properties in the Greater London area for damp and timber issues.

I am fully insured and am covered by £1,000,000 PI insurance.

I have been featured in the Daily Mail Homes Section and other publications. I have also given seminars on damp related issues to property professionals and several London Councils.

I have carried out surveys for all of London’s leading estate agents including Foxtons, Aspire, Cluttons, Haarts, Wooster & Stock, Marsh and Parsons, Winkworths, Savills, Hamptons, Douglas and Gorden, Knight Frank, Pedders, KFH, Mann Countrywide, Felicity J Lord, Anscombe and Ringland, and many more. I have also submitted damp and timber mortgage surveys for all of the UK’s leading mortgage lenders, including Natwest, HSBC, First Direct, Barclays, Santander, Metro Bank and many more.

I have consulted some of the UK’s leading companies and institutions on damp and timber related issues including Camden Council, Westminster Council, Islington Council, Greenwich Council, Thames Water and Bouygues UK – Europe’s largest construction company.

Recently I have provided damp related advice to The British Film Institute (for their Stephen Street London Headquarters) and for Sotheby’s Art School – Bedford Square London, and the REISS department store chain.

In January 2016 I was appointed to carry out damp surveys on Camden Council’s residential freehold properties.
